Be Water Proofed

Posted in: Sports and Recreation |

The effects of technology never seem to be enough because of so many improvements it brings to our daily lives. Technology innovates (almost) every aspect of life which are often noticeable and obvious. But if we try to think about it, technology is still the one reason behind the littlest improvements in the littlest things we encounter everyday. Even the waterproof characteristics of your favorite waterproof bag brand Berghaus, is a fruit of technology.

Before, we just have to bear with the rain and the sweat because there were no waterproof items to handle the “water”. Because of this, people who engage in sports and outdoor activities had a hard time doing the things they love. Good thing man’s curiosity never fades and the determination to improve almost everything in this world led to the birth of waterproof fabrics.

Waterproof fabrics do not just repel water. They repel water and as they do, they allow water vapor to get through. This characteristic of waterproof fabrics made them the best choice for active people. Now, we no longer have to worry about walking in the rain or snow or bearing with the sweat as we play our favorite sports. Just make sure you buy real waterproof apparel and products and you will surely be proofed!

Tips for Better Pics

Most people leave it to their cameras to decide how their pictures will look like. In other words, they put the camera on full automatic mode and fire away. However, a little manual intervention can help make pictures look much better. Here are a few tips.

First off, turn on burst mode. This will allow you to capture candid moments the moment they happen. In this day and age of low-cost storage, a few megabytes are going to be totally worth it if you get some of the best pictures around.

Next, control the white balance. Most cameras usually get the white balance correctly, but when they don’t, choose the proper setting for the shooting conditions. Then, protect your images from lens flare. Lens flares can make your pictures look cool, but that isn’t always the case. To prevent stray light from going into your lens, use a lens hood. If you can’t get one, just use your hand or a sheet of paper.

Lastly, get yourself a small tripod. We’re talking about the pocketable ones that have extending legs. Put the tripod on the table, place your camera on the pocket tripod, and fire away. You’ll be amazed at how much better pics come out because of the stability provided by the tripod.

There are a lot more things that you can do to get better images, but the ones listed above are some of the most basic and can be used with any camera..
